Aubrey Innes of Riverview, New Brunswick, passed away on March 30, 2025, at Monarch Hall Nursing Home. Born on Spectacle Island, NS, he spent most of his adult life as a commercial fisherman on the west coast for the Prince Rupert Fisherman's Co-Op. He worked on many boats over the years and owned several large seine boats including the Silver Dolphin, Dovre B, and the Snow Drift.

Aubrey was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed reading, solving crossword puzzles, and travelling to Hawaii and throughout Canada.

After retirement and his second marriage, Aubrey moved to Moncton. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Betty; sons, Andrew Bellis (Joanna), and Michael (Christine); special daughters, Patty and Roxanne; stepdaughters, Kim (Bryant), and Wendy (Rick); sister, Hazel Skidmore; and brother John; as well as his grandchildren; Simon, Heidi, Josh, Madeleine, Kolby, and Kirk and great-grandchildren; Addison, Alyssa, Ayden, Lilah, Evelyn, and William.

Aubrey was predeceased by his first wife Betty-Lou (Hughson); brother Lowell; and sister Mildred Huskins.

The family wish to extend a special thank you to the staff and nurses of Monarch Hall for the care and compassion shown to Aubrey.

Visitation was held at Cobb's Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Riverview on Friday, April 4th. No flowers by request.
