Arnold was called home after his courageous battle with cancer. At the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. Two of his sons were by his side, Randal and Dreyden. Arnold left after the boys fell asleep.

Arnold is survived by his parents Teddy and Lucille, children: Arnold Jr. (Stacey), Chezeray Ryan (Tara), Randal (Cecilia), Latryka Dryden. Arnold's grandchildren: Quinten, Clarence, Mariah, Sophia, Nicole, Sienna, Daisy. Siblings: Ted Jr., Milton (Barb) Charlene (Rupert). Nieces: Angie (Mike), Janet (Dan), Stephanie. Nephews: Jesse, Joshua, Chad, Jordan. Aunties: Majorie Barker, Beryl Cornish. Uncle Jackie Wilson. Numerous cousins from the Wilson, Robinson, Ryan, Leighton family lineages.

Memorial service was held at the Salvation Army May 25th, 2018. Funeral service and interment was held May 26th, 2018 in Metlakatla.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff of the 3rd Floor, Mary Wesley, to the people that went to visit Arnold in the hospital. To pastor Alex Hogendoorn for his words of prayer and comforting words to the family at the hospital. To Lt. Sabrina Silvy for conducting the service and Greg Silvy for his songs. To Pastor Charlie Carlick for officiating the funeral service and interment in Metlakatla. To Cindy Spencer for doing the memorial program. To Ben Spencer for doing the M.C. To Roberta Barker, Cindy Spencer, Stephanie McLean for reading of the Eulogy.

To the divers that took the family to Terrace to bring Arnold home. Alvin Leask, Neil Leask, Sherry Leask, Randal Wilson. To Alrita Leask for her words of prayer. To Sherry and Alrita for providing the family with a picnic lunch on a stop before home. To all the people that cooked for the family. Brought sandwiches, pastries and refreshments at the memorial. Thank you Fanny Nelson, Molly Ryan, Yvonne Gamble for organizing the kitchen.

To the people that cooked or brought food, at the community hall. To the fishermen that caught fresh Springs and Halibut for the feast. To the skippers, skiff operators, deck hands, grave diggers, and drivers in Metlakatla. To the people that gave cards or flowers. The Metlakatla Governing Council and treaty for their donations. Also for providing ferry transportation and use of the hall. To Jeannie Leighton for providing dinner for the family after we brought Arnold home. To the people of Metlakatla, thank you to each and everyone of you. For all the love and support and all that you did to help the family. To all that showed their respect to Arnold and the family we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
