Take notice that the Gitga’at First Nation from Hartley Bay, BC have applied to the Ministry of Water, Lands, and Resource Stewardship (WLRS) Smithers, for an Investigative Licence for Water Power located 80 km south-west of Kitimat at the mouth of the Douglas Channel near the village of Hartley Bay. This application for an Investigative Licence is for geotechnical investigative work at locations at the intake abutments, powerhouse and transmission for the Gitga’at Power Project.
