Canadian Navigable Waters Act - Lax Kw’alaams Business Development LP

Lax Kw’alaams Business Development LP hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for approval of the works described herein and its site and plans.

Pursuant to paragraph 7(2) of the said Act, Lax Kw’alaams Business Development LP has deposited with the Minister of Transport, on the on-line Navigable Waters Registry (http://cps.canada.ca/) under Registry numbers 9312 and 9313, and under the NPP File Numbers 2023-511133 and 2023-511134, a description of the following works, the sites and plans:

· Fish Traps

· Dock

Located on the Lower Skeena River near the confluence of Kwinitsa Creek between Terrace and Prince Rupert. The proposed location for the fish trap is Orde Point (54.22048, -129.55401) or Granulite Point (54.2265598, -129.532498).

Comments will be considered only if they are in writing (electronic means preferable) and are received not later than 30 days after the publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.
