Police are blaming road conditions for the flipped vehicle near Oliver Lake.

The single vehicle incident on the eastbound side of the road was reported to the Prince Rupert RCMP at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9.

“There was one occupant upon police arrival. The individual had gotten out of the vehicle and declined any assistance,” said Staff Sgt. Dave Uppal.

He said it’s unknown if the driver went to the hospital or not.

“It looks like road conditions were to blame, we don’t believe speed was a factor,” Uppal said.
