Two-thirds of Red Moon Road, an acoustic folk/roots band from Winnipeg, returned to Prince Rupert last week to shoot footage for a protest song written against the proposed Northern Gateway Pipeline.

The group was inspired to write the song, which has a working title of "Kermode the Bear Seeks an Explanation", after attending portions of the Enbridge Northern Gateway Project Joint Review Panel during a previous visit to Prince Rupert. During the visit the group also spotted a Kermode Bear along Highway 16.

The two musicians asked Rupertites to participate in the filming of the video, gathering in Mariner's Park on Thursday evening.

Red Moon Road's lead singer Sheena Rattai was unable to visit Prince Rupert due to an injury.
