VIDEO: Prince Rupert gets educated on tsunamis

Emergency Management BC, Environment Canada and the City of Prince Rupert held a forum to educate people on tsunamis.


Representatives from Emergency Management BC (EMBC) and Environment Canada have been traveling around the province holding tsunami public education forums in various communities, including an event that the City of Prince Rupert helped put on at Northwest Community College last week.

The event started with a “tsunami 101” informational presentation done by Teron Moore, a seismic specialist from Emergency Management BC.
