Pieces created during the Prince Rupert Community Art Project were on display during an exhibit at the Lester Centre of the Arts in Prince Rupert on March 21.
The project, which was funded by the North Coast Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society and Embrace BC, aimed to foster new relationships between new and long time Prince Rupert residents.
Prince Rupert artists Adrianne Johnston, Tyler Meers, Joan Mostad, Nicole Best Rudderham, and Mike Ambach and Arianne Loranger-Saindon led about 60 participants in five separate workshops, creating a large quilt, collages, self-portraits and mixed medium pieces.
