Students in Prince Rupert's school district are getting their hands wet this week during the Vancouver Aquarium's mobile education program.
The AquaVan is stopping in a number of schools this week, delivering the aquarium's conservation goal to educate and empower young people to become future environmental stewards.
The program allows students to see a variety of live marine invertebrates such as sea stars, crabs, anemones, sea urchins and more. It also includes a number of props, such as a stuffed polar bear and real whale teeth.
