Special Events Society receives $3,000 for Children’s Fest

Four local services groups contributed funds towards the annual Children's Fest, taking place in March.

The money was rolling in to the Prince Rupert Special Events Society on Friday, February 17, when four local service groups donated funds for 21st annual Children’s Fest being held on March 3rd. Donations included $1,000 from Royal Purple of Canada, $1,000 from the Elk’s Lodge #342, $500 from Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary branch # 27, and $500 from the Prince Rupert Lions Club.
