Police are again requesting the public’s assistance in locating Binh Tran, who has been missing for more than a month.

Tran was last seen on the morning of Dec. 11, 2018 in the area around the 1600 block of Park Avenue. Search and Rescue crews and the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team searched the area Tran was last seen without success.

Anyone with information on Tran’s location can call Prince Rupert RCMP at 250-627-0700 or Crimstoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).

Police describe Tran as a 27-year-old Vietnamese man, 5’9, 175 lbs with short black hair, a left ear and nose piercing as well as temporary star tattoos on his neck and behind his ears.

A Jan. 18 press release states that this extended disappearance is out of the ordinary for Tran and both his family and police are concerned for his well being.
