Prince Rupert and the North Coast have been issued a rainfall warning by Environment Canada starting tonight (March 21) and ending on March 22.

Cumulative rainfall is expected to measure 70 mm and up to 100 mm in some regions.

“Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible,” Environment Canada stated.
