Prince Rupert welcomes its New Year's baby

Jalissa Stanley-Alexcee was born at the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital on January 1 at 9:43 a.m. local time to mom Brenna Alexcee and dad Lyle Stanley of Prince Rupert B.C.

Northern Health is pleased to announce that the first baby born in Prince Rupert in 2013 is a girl.

Jalissa Stanley-Alexcee was born at the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital on January 1 at 9:43 a.m. local time to mom Brenna Alexcee and dad Lyle Stanley of Prince Rupert B.C., weighing in at eight pounds, five ounces.

Jalissa is also welcomed to the world by four big brothers and two older sisters.
