Prince Rupert RCMP seek assistance locating missing woman

Prince Rupert RCMP are seeking assistance in locating 48-year old Loretta Collins.

RCMP are seeking the public's assistance locating Loretta Collins

On April 24, 2015 at approximately 7:30 a.m. members of the Prince Rupert RCMP Detachment received a complaint with regards to a missing person named Loretta Collins (48 years old).

Further investigation determined Loretta was last in the area of Maverick Foods located in the 1300 block of 11th Avenue East in Prince Rupert, B.C., at approximately 9:50 p.m. on the evening of April 23rd, 2015.

"At this stage of the investigation police are making every possible effort to located Loretta," stated Const. Matt Ericson, spokesman for the Prince Rupert RCMP.

"Loretta's family and friends are very concerned as to her whereabouts, and we are making an appeal to Prince Rupert and the surrounding communities for any information that may assist us in locating Loretta."

Loretta is described as the following;

5 ½ feet tall (slim build)

140 pounds

Medium length dark hair

Blue eyes

Loretta was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans, with a possible pink top on underneath her jacket.

At this time police have not been able to locate Loretta's vehicle, which is described as the following;

2010 Grey Dodge Journey

British Columbia Licence Plate 671 TVJ

As this investigation is ongoing, the Prince Rupert RCMP is asking anyone that may have information regarding this incident or may have seen Loretta to contact the Prince Rupert RCMP Detachment at 250-627-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
