Port Edward council sworn in

The new council of the District of Port Edward was sworn in to office on Wednesday night.

The new council of the District of Port Edward was sworn in to office on Wednesday night, a council that includes three incumbents and two newly elected members.

Joining Mayor Dave MacDonald, who is starting his fourth term as mayor, and incumbents Christine MacKenzie and Dan Franzen are first-time councillor Grant Moore and former councillor James Brown.

“It’s going to be an exciting four years in Port Edward … I am looking forward to working with you all,” said Mayor MacDonald.
