A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at 7:08 p.m. on Feb. 2 while they were crossing Second Avenue West near the movie theatre. They sustained minor injuries.

Prince Rupert RCMP said heavy rain and strong winds were a factor. Sgt. Dave Uppal said the rain was falling sideways at the time of the incident. Police are still investigating.
