Terrace RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating Jaswinder Taggar, whose whereabouts are unknown.

Taggar is described as a 5’1 tall, 59-year-old South Asian woman with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen on the morning of Sunday July 17 in the family home and appeared to be in good health at the time.

Family say Taggar was around Graham and Cramer at 9: 45 a.m. on July 17 but they don’t know in which direction she was headed. Taggar is believed to be without her wallet, cell phone or identification, which the family says is out of character.

The family is asking for residents in that area to check their camera footage from Sunday (July 17), especially between 9:40 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Family and friends have been conducting daily searches in Terrace since Sunday as they seek to narrow down the area she travelled in.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and efforts to locate her have been so far unsuccessful. If you have any information about Taggar, or where she might be, contact the Terrace RCMP at 250-638-7400 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
