Two children who went missing on Friday afternoon in Prince Rupert were located after nearly two hours on Friday.
RCMP Constable Devon Gerrits confirmed that at 4:00 p.m., a five-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl were reported missing to the RCMP.
“They were last seen on Omineca Avenue at approximately 3:00 p.m.,” Gerrits said.
Gerrits said the RCMP conducted a search and the children were located back on Omineca Avenue at approximately 5:10 p.m.
“There was no report of harm,” he said. “They’re safe and have no injuries or anything like that.”
