Those making minimum wage will see a difference in their next paycheque after minimum wage increased today.
As of May 1, BC's minimum wage has increased to $10.25 an hour, up 75 cents from the current $9.50 per hour. Liquor services will see their minimum wage increase to $9 per hour.
Since March, 2011, minimum wage has increased $2.25 per hour from the $8 wage that was in place for many years in the province.
