Prince Rupert residents will finally hear the city’s updated plans for Hays 2.0 on April 25, after the presentation was postponed in November.

Mayor Lee Brain’s talk will cover Watson Island, Rupert’s downtown and waterfront, airport access, and strategies to increase city revenues and reduce taxes. The mayor’s 100-year vision for the coastal city’s future was first announced more than two years ago in November 2015.
Questions can be sent in before April 20 to questions@princerupert.ca. The presentation will take place at the Lester Centre at 7 p.m.
