Joint Review Panel now visiting Hartley Bay, Kitkatla and Klemtu

Early today the Joint Review Panel Panel released a revised hearing schedule for the Enbridge Northern Gateway.

Early today the Joint Review Panel Panel released a revised hearing schedule for the Enbridge Northern Gateway, and the number of days in Prince Rupert has been cut in half while three villages have been added to the schedule.

The panel will be in Prince Rupert on January 17 and 18 for hearings that start at nine a.m. at the North Coast Convention Centre, with the scheduled hearing on February 16, 20, 21, 22, 21 and 24 cancelled. The panel will return to Prince Rupert for two more days of hearings on April 16 and 17, with the location to be confirmed.

The panel will now be visiting Hartley Bay on March 2 and 3 for two days of hearings beginning at 11 a.m. at a location to be confirmed. The panel will now be spending seven days in Kitkatla for hearings at the Lach Klan School beginning at 10 a.m. on March 9, one p.m. on March 12, 10 a.m. on March 13, 14, 15 and 16 and one p.m. again on March 19. The final village to be added to the hearing schedule is Klemtu, where the panel will hold three days of hearings on April 11, 12 and 13.
