Charles Hays set to compete in final game of BC High School Boys 3A Basketball Championships

The Charles Hays Senior Boys Basketball team has secured a spot in the final game of provincials taking place at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The Charles Hays Senior Boys Basketball team has secured a spot in the final game of the 2014 BC High School Boys 3A Basketball Championships taking place at the Langley Events Centre tonight.

The Rainmakers will compete for the provincial title against Burnaby’s St. Thomas More Collegiate at 6 p.m., with the game being broadcasted live at the Langley Event Centre’s website.

Charles Hays earned their place in the final after beating out Mark R. Isfeld Secondary School from Courtenay 73-65 on Friday afternoon.

The Rainmakers defeated Vernon Secondary School 71-57 on Thursday, and the Fleetwood Park Dragons from Surrey 52-51 in their first game of the tournament.
