George T. Baker leans over the murder cheerleader played by James McNish.

AFFNO holds 2nd annual Murder Mystery fundraiser

This year, L’Association des Francophones et Francophiles du Nord-Ouest held the Last Kiss- with Murder on Sept. 29.

To ensure L’Association des Francophones et Francophiles du Nord-Ouest (AFFNO) can break even financially each year, the association holds an annual Murder Mystery fundraiser.

This year the Last Kiss- with Murder was held on Sept. 29.

Set in the 1960’s, suspects (Clark William Spence, Treena Decker, Noah Ferland, Stephen Huddlestone, George T. Baker, Larissa Goruk, Heather McLeod and Celena Cochrane-Olsen) try to discover who poisoned and killed a beautiful cheerleader (played by James McNish).

Approximately 80 people attended the event at the Crest Hotel, which raised an estimated $1,500 for AFFNO’s operations.

AFFNO is a non-profit society that represents thousands of members between Prince Rupert and Smithers.
