In the last three days, two businesses in Prince Rupert have been broken into and had cash stolen.
On March 21, an alarm was triggered at a business on First Avenue at 6 a.m. Police discovered the door had been kicked in and approximately $200 was taken from the register.
This latest robbery comes only two days after a business on Sixth Avenue West reported $1,600 had been stolen from their store over the weekend. In a press release, Corporal Devon Gerrits said police believe the suspect got in through an unlocked door.
