Police seek suspect in alleged Cow Bay Cannabis store robbery-assault

The Prince Rupert RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance to find a thief who allegedly robbed Cow Bay Cannabis March 18 and assaulted an employee.

Police said the robbery took place at around noon. The suspect is described as a young man, about five feet, 10 inches with a slim build.

RCMP specifically asked for anyone who recognizes the man’s clothing to contact police. He was wearing a black and blue Nike pullover hoodie with red and black pajama pants, they said.

“We are asking that anyone who may recognize the man from his unique clothing to come forward and speak with police,” media relations officer Brody Hemrich said.

“The public’s assistance is a key part of advocating for victims of crime and ensuring public safety.”

Anyone with information on the incident are asked to contact the Prince Rupert RCMP at 250-624-2136.
