The Kitimat Ice Demons are calling on the community to fill the Kitimat Ice Rink Dec. 15, aiming to gather as many teddy bears as possible for this annual holiday charity endeavor.

This special game against the Prince Rupert Rampage features the Teddy Bear Toss, where fans are encouraged to throw new teddy bears onto the ice after the Ice Demons score their first goal.

The collected teddy bears will be donated to local charities, providing comfort to children during the holiday season.

The rink will have a limited number of teddy bears available for purchase.

Tickets for the event are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children and seniors.

They are available at the door or can be pre-purchased at the Sam Lindsey Aquatic Center. The Ice Demons hope to see a packed rink, both in support of the team and to maximize the charitable impact of the Teddy Bear Toss.

The game, this Friday, Dec. 15, starts at 7:30 p.m.
