DriveBC expects the highway between Terrace and Prince Rupert will reopen at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Highway 16 was closed in both directions around noon Wednesday due to high avalanche danger.
The points of closure are 35 kilometres west of Terrace, and 13 kilometres east of Prince Rupert.
