The shuttle bus for the new 8:10 p.m. flight from Prince Rupert will depart at 6:00 p.m. from the Highliner Hotel.

Air Canada Jazz has opened bookings for a new evening flight connecting Vancouver and Prince Rupert, with service scheduled to begin June 6, 2025.

The additional flight will operate on Wednesdays and Fridays, departing Vancouver at 5:45 p.m. and arriving in Prince Rupert at 7:32 p.m. The return leg will depart Prince Rupert at 8:10 p.m., landing in Vancouver at 9:50 p.m.

According to the Prince Rupert Airport Authority, the new flight has been introduced to meet growing travel demand over the summer months. The seasonal service will run until Oct. 24, with the possibility of an extension.

To support the 8:10 p.m. flight departure, the airport shuttle bus will leave from the Highliner Hotel at 6 p.m.

Ticket prices for the new service start at $192 one way, though fares may vary depending on travel date and availability.

This evening service supplements the existing Air Canada Jazz flights between the two cities: a midday departure from Vancouver at 12:55 p.m., arriving in Prince Rupert at 2:42 p.m., and a 3:20 p.m. departure from Prince Rupert, arriving in Vancouver at 5 p.m.
