There was a lovely turnout at the Seniors’ Centre for Ivey’s Celebration of Life. I would like mention the generosity of the Moose Ladies’ who provided most of the desserts for the afternoon. They were very much appreciated, we thank you Delores and Doreen.

We have turned the heat up at the Centre and Bob has added weather stripping to the outside and inside doors where needed. We hope the building warms up faster and holds the heat in! In cold weather like this it is always a good idea to layer and most importantly wear long johns! Reverend John Martinson came to talk about the importance of having “Burial Instructions” so when the time arrives the family knows your wishes. It saves much arguing and upset I’m told. If you would like a copy of the template, please come down to the centre and I will make a copy for you. We charge 10 cents per page.

Zone 10 News: Memberships now available for Zone 10- Senior Games. Membership applications are available at the Prince Rupert Senior’s Centre.

Last call for anyone interested in ordering our “100 Years of Rupertites” book. Books are $20.00 and we’d like you to prepay. Thank you (We make no profit on

this).
