On Thursday, January 26, the North Coast Performers Society and AFFNO will be presenting Searson at the Lester Centre of the Arts at 7:30 p.m. as part of AFFNO’s annual Sugar Shack Festival d’Hiver.

“Touring and performing our original music for live audiences is the best reward we could get for years of music lessons and practicing,” said Erin Searson.

“Touring with my sisters has given us a lifetime of memories that we could never imagine living

without.”

Searson consists of sisters Erin, Heather and Colleen Searson, who play a variety of instruments including the piano, organ, fiddle, tenor guitar, and bass, with acclaimed drummer and percussionists accompany the sisters.

The girls also incorporate expert dance moves into their performances. Searson have a Country-blues sound, while incorporating Ottawa Valley-style fiddle playing. The ladies will be performing tracks from their newest album “Untitled” is the group’s sixth album, as well as some of their older tunes that were all written by the sisters.

Tickets for the Searson concert can be purchased in advance at Cook’s Jewelers or at the Lester Centre box office.
