Klezmer is a family affair featuring two talented young Fiddlers Kiri Daust and Madeline Lough from Smithers backed up by their moms on accordion, keyboard, and flute. In addition to fiddle, Kiri and Madeline will also add the sounds of trombone, stand up bass, and guitar. After playing at a wedding several years ago, the bride and groom were so enthused that they joined the band adding percussion and vocals. The Prince Rupert Rotary Choir will be joining the band for several upbeat traditional tunes as well.

The music is so upbeat, the organizers are making sure that there is space for dancing. The show is at the Tom Rooney Playhouse on January 22 at eight p.m.
