The 39th annual Seafest weekend was jam packed full of family fun events and competitions.

The Northern View took hundreds of photos and below we have shared some of our favourites.

But first, the Seafest 2017 Parade winners are:

Best Overall Entry – Canadian Coast Guard

Best Community Entry:

1st – 11th Prince Rupert Scout Group

2nd – Indo Canadian Sikh Association

3rd - North Coast Transition Society “In Her Shoes”

Best Theme Entry:

1st – CityWest

2nd – Luso Portuguese Club of Prince Rupert

3rd – Chances Prince Rupert & Prestige Prince Rupert

Best Out of Town Entry:

1st – Port Edward Harbour Authority

Best Marching Band Entry:

1st – Prince Rupert Middle School Marching Band

2nd – Terrace Pipes & Drums Society

3rd – Coast Tsimshian Academy School Band

Best Dance Group Entry:

1st – Dance Academy of Prince Rupert

2nd – Gitsegukla Gidahmes Dance Group

3rd - Spectrum City Dance
