Grabbing a coffee at Tim Hortons today will help send youth across the country to summer camp.

Today is Camp Day at Tim Hortons across the country and the proceeds from coffee sales will be used by the Tim Hortons Children’s Foundation to help send more than 11,000 underprivileged youth to summer camp. Last year’s event raised $11.8 million and the goal is to surpass that amount this year,

To help the cause, volunteers from groups such as the Prince Rupert RCMP, Prince Rupert Fire Rescue, the Prince Rupert Rotary Club and the BG Group will be on-hand throughout the day to serve up some hot beverages.

Those whoa aren’t coffee drinkers can support the cause by texting camp to 45678 to make a $5 donation.
