The annual Prince  Rupert Library ‘Food for Fines’ program has provided food for the local Salvation Army Food bank for several years.

Although it is still early in December the Library has already donated over $200 in food for those in need. The Library will continue to accept food in place of fines until the mid January. This benefits both local readers and the hungry in Prince Rupert.
