The Prince Rupert Community Enhancement Society is holding “Share the Warmth”, a coat drive to ensure individuals living in need in Prince Rupert can keep warm this winter.

The coat driving is taking place at Overwaitea until Dec. 14, with anyone who donates a winter coat for men, women or children receiving 500 Save On More points courtesy of Overwaitea.

Cathy Campbell from the Community Enhancement Society said there are more than 30 people currently on a waiting list for a donated coat. The society will be distributing the coats as they come in.

If there are any coats not given out they will be donated to other community groups.
