21st annual Children's Festival

On Saturday, March 3, hundreds of families visited the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre to partake in fun activities and entertainment.

The Prince Rupert Special Events Society hosted the 21st annual Children's Festival on Saturday, with several hundred children and their families visiting the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre throughout the afternoon. 2010 Juno Award winner Mr. Norman Foote provided the event with some musical entertainment that had children up and dancing. Other fun activities included Hammer N' Nails, fingernail painting and designs, a tattoo parlour, rock-wall climbing, a bouncing castle, cardboard castle, and plenty more.

The Special Events Society, which is a non-profit organization, is able to put on Children's Fest each year through the kind donations of the public, and with the help of many volunteers.
