Shear Pleasure’s owner Marlene McIntyre recently celebrated three decades of business in Prince Rupert by adding even more to her “head to toe” menu of services.
Following the revolution in skin revitalization, Shear Pleasure has the latest microdermabrasion and cold laser equipment for skin rejuvenation treatments done by Bonnie Smith.
Essentially painless, the treatments include medical-grade creams and masks by Dr. Belter of Germany and address a wide variety of skin care issues from acne and related scars to fine lines and wrinkles in a sterile, private treatment room.
Adding to the list of already available massage treatments at Shear Pleasure is the Thai Experience. Joining Shear Pleasure’s team of Lek Donati, who brings eight years of Thai Massage experience to a room decorated to create the Thai ambiance, and Nantida Weaver, a licensed esthetician and stylist from Thailand with 11 years of experience in the beauty field is Raman Kaur. Raman brings nine years of experience and specializes in facial and eyebrow threading, as well as manicures, pedicures, waxing and more.
Additionally, Shear Pleasure features a full-service hair salon and top of the line products (Redken, Paul Mitchell and American Crew, to name a few), tanning and a full line-up of spa treatments including facials and manicures. Clients coming in for pedicures are invited to enjoy last year’s addition, a massaging chair and foot
