Todd Hamilton returned to Black Press in 2012 after three years as a group publisher of 12 community newspaper titles in Manitoba, earned either individually or as part of the team he led in Smithers and Houston, more than 60 Canadian and British Columbia newspaper awards during his five years in Smithers. Hamilton is a five-time British Columbia-Yukon Community Newspaper Association (BCYCNA) Ma Murray Award winner for community service and editorial writing and a four-time winner of the Canadian Community Newspaper Association's (CCNA) top awards for local editorial writing and community service.
