Exporting jobs to Asia

Our Energy Policy is based on exporting energy to create jobs.

Editor:

Our Energy Policy is based on exporting energy to create jobs.

Instead of developing an Energy Policy of self sufficiency, we've developed a make work project that's called the Alberta Tar Sands, which is subsidized by the Canadian taxpayer to the tune of $1.2 billion a year.

This particular project has a net energy loss, which means, it takes more than a barrel to make a barrel.  It's all done in the pretext of job creation, which it does, high paying jobs, which me and you pay for.

This is what fuels the Asian economy, cheap North American energy combined with slave and child labour, with no environmental restrictions, and they in return supply us with cheap non essential consumer goods.
