It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Shirley Nardon. She passed away peacefully on October 5, 2013 with her family at her side at the age of 78. Terry was pre-deceased by her parents Eric and Florence Winfield.
Terry was born in Jersey Channel Isles in Great Britain on March 29, 1935. In 1957 she moved to Vancouver and on her second day in Canada she met the love of her life, John. They married in 1958 and settled in Prince Rupert where they raised two daughters. Terry worked at Eaton’s and B.C. Packers where she made many friends and was known for her positive personality and
kindness. John and Terry retired and they moved to Kelowna. Terry always enjoyed hot
weather, thrift shops and travelling. Terry and John
enjoyed many wonderful cruises together.
Terry will be deeply missed by her husband John of 55 years, daughters Christina (Mel) and
Anita. She will be fondly remembered by her six
grandchildren Tyler, Kyle (Sarah, James, Ellie), Nicole (Mike), Lauren (Scott), Tovah, Kieren her sister Diane Brady (Sean) and many close friends.
A celebration of our mom’s life will be held at their home in Kelowna on Friday October 11th at 1pm
