Rose Richards of Prince Rupert, BC passed away March 7, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Rose was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta on July 18, 1949. She was the oldest daughter of the late Mary and Stan Wardill. She leaves behind two sisters, Jane and Shirley (John), and her brother Steven. She was the beloved mother of her two daughters, Cathy (Tim) and Kim (George). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Clifford, Gordie, Hailey, and Liam. Her two nieces Tamara and Melanie (Geoff), and many other family and friends who will miss her.
Rose will always be remembered as being a kind gentle lady. She loved spending time in the outdoors. Some of he best memories were her many camping and fishing trips with family. She also loved family dinners, baking, and all the time she spent with her grandchildren as they grew up.
At Rose’s request there will be a private gathering for immediate family only at a later date.
