Phyllis Shepard (nee Imeson) left our world peacefully at the age of 92 on November 10th, 2016. She is predeceased by her husband George (Joe) Shepard and is survived by her son Ted (Jacki), grandchildren Catherine (Dale), Kendal, Crystal (Micah), and Kevin (Ashley). She had the pleasure of knowing all three of her great-grandchildren Owen, Kailen, and Carson. Phyllis will be missed by her remaining brothers Ernie and George.
Phyllis was born Feb. 29th, 1924 in Masham, England and moved to Alberta with her family two years later. In her early adulthood, she came to settle and start a family in Port Edward after taking work on the Skeena River and marrying her late husband Joe. Before Joe's passing in 1993, Phyllis moved to Prince Rupert where she resided until her own passing.
In keeping with Phyllis' final wishes, there will be no formal memorial service. The family will instead pay respects privately in her honour.
