Patrick George McSween

July 18, 1957 - November 11, 2013

With family and close friends by his side, Patrick George McSween passed away just before noon on Remembrance Day - a very

important day to him at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital following a bravely fought battle with Leukemia.

Patrick was the youngest of three children (brother, Trevor and sister Theresa) was predeceased by his parents Patricia and Wallace (Bucka) McSween.

Patrick is survived by hi love Fernanda Soares, daughter Michelle (Richard), his sister Theresa, nephew Trevor, bother Trevor, and his first wife Deanne. As well as many relatives and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in

Patrick’s honour to PRRH, the Jean Kennedy Cancer Lodge in

Vancouver, or the Leukemia/Bone Program of British Columbia at Vancouver General Hospital.

Fernanda would like to thank all our family and friends for their

support at this difficult time.

Miss me, but let me go

When I come to the end of the road,

And the sun is set for me,

I want no rites in a gloom filled room,

Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little, but not too long,

And not with your head bowed low,

Remember the love that once we shared,

Miss me, but let me go.

For this journey we must make,

And each must do it alone,

It’s all a part of the Master’s plan,

A step on the road to home.

So when you are lonely and sad at heart,

Go to the friends we know,

Bury your sorrows in doing your deeds,

Miss be, but let me go.
