June 1, 1934 - February 12, 2017
In the early morning hours of February 12, dad left peacefully to be with his wife Marion, with me close to his right-hand side at the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital, days following a dynamic hip surgery … he was 82. He will be remembered by many for his position at the Canadian Cellulose. A few years ago I tossed dad into the spotlight of Facebook where he, over the last four years, would co-author three books as a result in addition to acquiring a few hundred Facebook followers... I will cherish our books forever! Dad leaves behind his three other sons, John, Mike and Gary. Many thanks to the caring staff at the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital, Dr. Croft and the wonderful staff at the Acropolis Manor for their gracious care over the past 2 1/2 months, where dad was a new resident. We will be having a private family service in Cedar, BC, during the Victoria Day long weekend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favourable charity. Kind regards, Robb.
