Kyle J Flaten. Kyle Jonathan Flaten, at the age of 30, passed away tragically and suddenly on May 12, 2013. Kyle was born January 17, 1983 at the Prince Rupert Regional
Hospital.
Kyle lived life to the fullest and his
greatest joys were spending time with his family and friends. He loved
sledding, quadding and hockey. However, hunting was his greatest passion and every year he looked forward to a new season. Kyle was an avid hockey fan and believed all children should have the right to play the game. Kyle was patient, kind and thoughtful and loved to entertain with his keen sense of humour. He could light up a room with his smile.
Kyle is survived by his loving parents Terri and Colin Flaten, sister Jaclyn, grandfather Jim, dear friend Laura Adams and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at the Performing Arts Centre at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 18. Refreshments to follow at the home of Terri and Colin Flaten from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the
family requests you make a donation to the Minor Hockey Association of Prince Rupert or the Kyle Flaten Memorial Award Fund. c/o 1000
