Jules passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Prince Rupert Hospital on March 7 at age 85. He was born on Nov. 16, 1931 in Veteran, Alberta.

Jules is survived by Carol Perry, his wife of 57 years, sisters Ellen, Norma and Janet and brother Art, children Linda, Wayde and Doug, along with grandchildren Lance, Pamela, and Moneca, Miranda, Martina and Nathan, and Hannah, as well as great-grandchildren Brynn and Tegan.

He was pre-deceased by sister Joyce and brother Robert.

Jules was a dedicated Lions member for 56 years, known for his extensive service with the Prince Rupert Lions Club, as well as the Kaien Island Lions Club, which he formed. Furthermore, Jules was District Governer of District A in ‘91-92, overseeing an area comprised of 58 Lions Clubs around B.C.

Funeral taking place at Ferguson’s in Prince Rupert on Friday, April 7 at 11 a.m., followed by his burial at the New Caledonia Cemetary in Terrace at 2 p.m. Reception taking place afterwards.
