Josephine Gillian Dowding
Febuary 11, 1930 to October 24, 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Josephine on October 24, 2013. She was per-deceased by her husband Alfred. She leaves to mourn her family; Clar and Mary Dowding, Don and Betty Dowding, Marlene and Gordon Lavhey, Loretta and Ken Cornish (with whom she resided for 23 years) and Christine and Gary Chevrier. Also left to mourn are her six grandchildren, Scott Dowding, Paul Dowding, Paula Arenas, Dawn Dowding, Tracy Hahn and Ashley Cornish; her great grandchildren Tonya Dowding, Sophia Arenas, Jackson Hahn, Ashlynn and Kadeyn Bond-Cornish.
We would like to send a special thank you to all the nurses and to Dr. Croft for all the wonderful care that you gave our mom at Prince Rupert Hospital. We would also like to thank all the nurses and Doctors that helped mom through her final days at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Prince Rupert
Regional Hospital in her memory.
Cremation has taken place and internment to follow at a later date.
