John Ross Anderson born December 17, 1936 died July 8 2017 at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. Ross was predeceased by his parents John Gunnard and Elizabeth Anderson and his brother James Bryce Anderson. Ross was dearly loved by his wife Janet who was with him until the end. He is survived by his three children Lynda( Larry) Keene, Gunnard (Kay) and Robert (Bob) (Laura), sister-in-law Andrea Anderson and nieces Kirsten, Leah and nephew Mark. Ross and Janet have 7 grandchildren and one great grandson. Ross was a great Prince Rupert booster who said that we lived in the most beautiful place and the safest. A service will be held at Cornerstone Mennonite church on Wednesday July 12 at 2:00pm. Ross’s faith and family were always the centre of his thoughts and prayers.
A thank you to Dr. Croft and Dr. Brown who have taken care of Ross over the years. A very special thank you to the nursing staff in the emergency and third floor. Also we really appreciated the kindness of the lab, food services, cleaning and maintenance staffs. In Ross’s words we have a class A medical facility.
