It is with sorrow that we announce the death of Jacoline (Jacki) Shepard. After a five-year battle with lung cancer, Jacki (nee Mearns) passed surrounded by her loving family at Kelowna Hospice House. She is survived by her husband, Ted, her children Catherine (Dale), Kendal, Crystal (Micah), and Kevin. Jacki had the joy of knowing her three grandchildren Owen, Kailen, and Carson. The family thanks those who have supported Jacki through her experience, showing love and friendship in her most trying of times. She is remembered by many people from all the phases of her life. In keeping with Jacki’s wishes, there will be no memorial service. The family has privately paid respects in her honour.
