Betty passed away early Thursday morning June 22, 2017, succumbing to her battle with respiratory sickness.
Betty was the second child of Howard and Marion Pierce, born in Shelbourne, Nova Scotia on November 26, 1948.
Betty leaves behind her husband of 22 years Dave Heal, her children Mike Rochon, Trudy Rochon and step-children Jordan Rochon and Daniel Rochon, grand children Caitlin, Brittany and Cody, her sister Julie Bryant (Jake Ford), brother Norman (Joanne) Pierce and many nieces and nephews. Special mention to Betty’s little dog Jaylee.
Predeceased by her Mother Marion Pierce, sister Carol VanHulle and brother-in-law Neal Bryant.
Betty will be missed by her family and many friends and those special friends that spent a lot of time with her out on the river trying to catch the big one.
A special thanks to all of you that reached out to help Dave and the family and special thanks to the medical and care team that responded.
There is a memorial service planned at the Lutheran Church on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Whaley officiating.
A Celebration of Life for Betty will be held at a later date.
